IT - Program Manager - Store IT Solutions Roll-out

As an IT Program Manager, your responsibilities will be to:
  • Define a clear Program Strategy and Roadmap taking into account priorities, risks and resources in order to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Manage several dependent projects, based on the standard process and methodology as defined by the PMO of IT Governance.
  • Manage the commitment of the project teams towards business in terms of scope, planning, cost and quality.
  • Lead project teams through the entire project lifecycle from idea to project execution.
  • Manage interaction with a range of internal and externalstakeholders or suppliers to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and within scope. Create and maintain the stakeholders map.
  • Manage the differenttest phases and the user acceptance plan with the business, and coordinate its execution.
  • Prepare required reports and presentations.
  • Escalate project issues and risks appropriately, and drive them to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Increase Program adoption leveraging directly or indirectlyChange Management techniques.
  • Act as a driving force in the selection processes of partners / suppliers, working in close collaboration with purchasing departments in Belgium and with the Group
  • Make sure the business case is properly documented taking the contribution of relevant stakeholders (sponsors, business, IT specialists, GDPR).
  • Get a full overview of the background in which the Program takes place whether within IT or outside.
  • Explain the challenges and promote solutions to C-level executives through predefined channels. Explain in which extent the Program will generate added Business value (Strong business case).


Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT and business/industry.
  • Experience with one or more project management methodologies & Project Management Certification; however, demonstrated experience of 10 or more years of program and project management can serve as equivalent to certification.
  • Strongbusiness acumen, in the IT and (r)etail industries with a distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them and how they may be applied to the enterprise.
  • Native speaker level in Dutch or French and a professional command of English.
