Division

Technology Management Services (TMS) is one of the 6 Technology divisions. TMS acts as a business partner and trusted advisor of the Technology Divisions through finding the right balance between supporting and challenging/controlling to enable the Technology organization to become a true FinTech.

The Team

The IT Sourcing Strategy team focuses on the IT services/technology partners as Outsourcing Service Providers (OSP), Critical Service Providers (CSPs) and high risk/niche vendors across IT to increase quality of service, performance and bring in best value from providers to IT.

IT Sourcing Strategy is a multi-cultural team, with diversified background spanning across delivery, infrastructure & security, sourcing & vendor management, purchasing, service provider, legal, product management.

Description

IT Sourcing Strategy team is seeking a IT Sourcing Strategy Senior Manager, who will work in conjunction with IT delivery teams, across disciplines, to manage outsourcing life cycle with our Strategic Service Providers, implement and closely follow up the governance, risk & compliance related to outsourcing activities as well as to contribute actively in key sourcing initiatives.

This role also consists to manage transversal topics, common to all Outsourcing Services Providers managed in IT sourcing strategy team: respond to risk and audit requests - internal or from regulators, document and optimize our managed vendors processes and controls, evaluate the adequacy and monitor provider’s Business Continuity Measures, act as central point of contact for regulatory projects impacting provider’s management.

Success in this role will require leadership, collaboration, communication, change and people management skills and management of suppliers relationship. The right candidate must have expertise in driving change at scale using analytics, process engineering, influential communication and effective presentation to senior leaders, as well as leadership and people management.

Role

As a senior IT Sourcing Strategy Manager, reporting to the Head of Department – IT Sourcing Strategy, you will:

• Advise/support the IT leadership in developing/refining IT Sourcing Strategy & roll out
• Ensure the multi-hat role of IT Sourcing Strategy team is rightly balanced for the advisory, support & control activities.
• Ensure that the proposed solutions for the different stakeholders are fit for purpose, coherent, efficient and cost effective
• Ensure the IT sourcing & partner management maturity journey is progressing to the next level
• Monitor key outsourced services, by working with the IT and non-IT stakeholders (such as Compliance, Legal, Risk Management & Supply Chain) across Euroclear & the partners
• Create opportunities for open and constructive dialogue to ensure the services delivered by the partners across domains, technologies & divisions are fit-for-purpose, of good quality, bring in value for money, and of low/calculated risk.
• Drive vendor first line risk management, regulatory compliance & control assurance activities, owned by IT business owner.
• Promote the co-workers’ engagement and motivate them to perform required tasks and to achieve specific goals
• Respond to risk and audit requests , from Euroclear second and third line of defence and from regulators
• Drive processes and controls documentation and optimization
• Monitor and ensure adequacy of provider business continuity and security compliance
• Contribute in regulatory projects in the analysis, planning and implementation of the provider’s compliance
• Define and implement added value reporting to support multiple stakeholders needs
