Your Tasks
As a Brand Manager, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to shape and implement a local marketing strategy for the NIVEA MEN & DEO brand groups, all while drawing inspiration from our international portfolio. Your goal will be to meet our targets for market shares, sales, and profitability. Let’s take a look at some of the key responsibilities you’ll be embracing:
- Daily Management of the product categories: definition and implementation of successful launches and relaunches incl. analysis, follow-up of supply chain data, forecasting, follow-up of activation plans / follow-up of the core product portfolio
- Business steering:
- Understanding of challenges and opportunities for Deodorant (biggest category within NIVEA) and NIVEA MEN with clear recommendations for the future
- Responsible to steer and build action plan to reach Market Share KPIs
- Ongoing generation of local insights to develop impactful and efficient action plans and identify the business opportunities to reinforce your categories in Belgium
- Market analysis & performance tracking: analysis of the sell-in and sell-out results, follow up the competition activities (media, innovations, activities) and landscape, market evolution in terms of product and habits / trend
- Define and implement the local marketing strategy and plans based on the marketing mix levers and apply in the best way possible the international guidelines & strategies to the local market situation
- Implement and execute marketing and media campaigns that are defined together with the Marketing Manager
- Leverage the exciting NIVEA MEN partnership and bring it to a new and higher level
- Owning the non-working marketing budget of your categories
- Engaging and motivating key stakeholders to maximize your category performance
- You work as a team player in close collaboration with your marketing colleagues and other business functions, namely Sales, SCM, Supply Chain, Financial Controlling, Regulatory, and report directly to the Marketing Manager.
Your Profile

- Someone with a degree in a relevant field: marketing, business or any other relevant field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in brand or product management
- Sharp analytical skills and a results-driven mindset
- Strong ownership with entrepreneurial mindset.
- A knack for staying organized and paying attention to the little details.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - are a must
- Capacity to drive simplicity and quick action in a complex environment.
- Fluency in Dutch - French & English will really make a difference!
