Your responsabilities

You will work in the Sabena – Aerospace labs at Zaventem airport.

  • You will use chemical analysis methods (Microbioligical testing, XRF and ICP for wear elements in fluids, quality control of fluids, material determination) to process different samples of aircraft components.
  • After analysis and treatment of the samples, you report the results to the customer.
  • You calibrate, check and maintain the measuring instruments and lab equipment.
  • You perform root-cause analyses if there are deviations in the results and report these to the clients / services involved.
  • You manage and order the stock so that the productivity of the laboratory is guaranteed.
  • Checking and filing documents related to quality.

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in laboratory studies, chemistry or another scientific discipline such as industrial sciences.
  • You are accurate, you pay attention to all elements in order to obtain correct data;
  • You are proactive, result-oriented and pragmatic;
  • You can communicate in a clear and structured way;
  • You can cooperate well and consult with other services.
  • You are familiar with the Microsoft office package.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English, French is a plus
