About The Role

The DBU&SP takes full ownership of asset divestment, partnership, integration, or discontinuation projects.

The Asset Project Manager Will Liaise With The Asset Lead And The Respective Workstream Leads To Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor & Control And Close All Activities Pertaining To The Project And Workstreams’ Scope Of Work, Which Can Include
  • Marketing authorization transfer
  • Commercial data transfer
  • Distribution switch
  • Supply agreement: supply of vaccines (GSK acting as CMO)
  • Product life cycle management
  • (QC) technology transfer
  • Clinical study data transfer
  • Data disposition
  • Other
The Asset Project Manager will use DBU&SP customized project management processes, and DBU&SP tools & templates, to support the Asset Lead, and/or the Senior Project Manager with the management of a transversal team and the reporting in the project governance.

Your Responsibilities
  • You prepare, attend, minute and follow-up on tactical and operational project-related internal and external meetings; you are able to substitute for the Asset Lead during those meetings as appropriate
  • You track and follow-up on key decisions, actions, risks & issues at all levels, both at GSK and at external partner
  • You customize tools and templates for setting up the asset team’s objectives and monitoring progress at different level of reporting (roadmaps, dashboards)
  • You establish clear communication channels with escalation path within GSK and with external partners
  • Knowledge management: you ensure asset-related information is readily available to internal / external team members (maintain internal / external asset team sites, access management) and properly stored/ retained
  • You are responsible for the planning and organization of workshops and process flows to facilitate strategic planning and decision making (able to drive meeting to consensus)
  • Continuous improvement: you support the design and/or optimization of processes and ways of working across workstreams (set-up project charter); create and maintain a lessons learned register
  • You organize regular workshops for assessment of the asset team / workstream’s performance in scope of the Internal Control Framework
  • Resource demand: you provide project inputs in MSP Online; engage with stakeholders (SME / PMO) to evaluate the MPU / department resource needs
  • Delegation: You are able to handle selected Asset Lead tasks (e.g. lead of Task Force or specific workstream)
  • Size of project allocated is proportional to role seniority, and/or Senior PM coaching in place.

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor / master degree level, with specialization in Business (finance/marketing/commercial) and/or life sciences and/or manufacturing/supply
  • Min 2 years in Project management involved in team organizations
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
  • Knowledge of PM tools such as MS Project or equivalent tools
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Sense of urgency, flexibility, and accountability.
  • Ability to work autonomously in absence of Asset Lead or Senior PM.
  • Effective communication skills, including presentation skills to senior management and write right
  • Ability to work in project teams in a multidisciplinary environment and a matrix organization
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Creative thinker & problem solver, able to create a clear course of action from complex starting points.
  • Able to drive change
  • Stakeholder management: able to create sustainable networks throughout GSKs departments
  • English (oral & written). Knowledge of French/ German/ Italian is an asset
