Job Purpose

This role is essential in supporting the Supply Execution Excellence Manager to implement the transformation roadmap with innovative process and system solutions during the transformation phase.

Your main responsibility will be to provide the Supply Execution organization with cloud-based business intelligence solutions that enable a better process control, allow easier and more advanced analytics and help to digitalize governances for Order Fulfilment, Supply Coordination and Customer Master data teams. This will bring an important reduction of manual workload and lead-times but as well allow to operate in a more proactive way.

Additionally the purpose of the role is to accumulate knowledge and experience with both the functional order fulfilment and customer master data processes as with the business intelligence tools, in order to further develop the full reporting potential and to stimulate the utilization of reporting system solutions with the rest of the Supply Execution organization.

Your Responsibilities
  • You manage set-up and Implementation of cloud-based business intelligence solutions for Order Fulfilment, Supply Coordination and Customer Master Data teams according to the transformation roadmap
  • You own and promote the utilization of the new analytical and reporting system solutions such as
    • dashboards to improve process control and visibility on E2E processes and across teams, in order to move from a reactive into a proactive modus
    • multi-dimensional data cube reporting in the cloud to allow easier and more advanced analytics instead of line by line verification, reducing workload, leadtimes and improving business insights
    • digitalized governances, enable faster information sharing and more efficient decision making for the Supply Execution team and their stakeholders
  • You support the Supply Coordination team via tools and analytics to consolidate regional market, MPU and PT inputs into one global picture
  • You provide training and operational support to the complete Supply Execution team
  • You monitor and maintain data availability and accuracy of reports and analytical tools in the Supply Execution domain
  • You identify opportunities in order to further develop analytics and reporting solutions to improve results on a continuous base and to adapt to changing needs
  • You function as a competence center of these new Business Intelligence system solutions for the complete Supply Execution team, in alignment with the GVSC BI Technology expert

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor Degree, with specialization in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Business Administration
  • 2-3 years of experience in an analytical or reporting project role in an international or global context, within pharmaceutical or FMCG supply chain Industry.
  • Operational experience in Supply Chain processes and supporting systems with large organizations within an international business environment
  • Demonstrated experience in functional development of business intelligence solutions
  • Skilled in Lean and/or Operational Excellence methodology and project implementation
  • Earlier involvement in system solution development of business intelligence solutions
  • Experienced in stakeholder management
  • Excellent written and spoken English is a must

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:
  • Recognized professional qualification / certification in Operational Excellence and/or Supply Chain preferred (e.g. PDCA, Yellow Belt, operational experience, APICS certification, etc.…)
  • Knowledge of cGxP requirements is an asset
  • Change management: basic knowledge of project and change management methodology, especially in training and documentation is a strong plus
