As a Java Developer within an agile team, you will contribute a diverse set of skills (analysis, design, development, testing, and integration) to deliver valuable elements within each sprint cycle. Working closely with other team members, you will go beyond your domain of expertise to ensure the completion of sprint backlog tasks, prioritizing delivery based on the Product Owner’s direction. This role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and a commitment to the principles of agile development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality products at the end of each sprint.
  • Surpass individual knowledge domains to support overall team goals and sprint completion.
  • Focus on delivering the sprint backlog based on prioritized tasks from the Product Owner.
  • Adhere to scrum values (focus, commitment, openness, respect, and courage).
  • Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing to drive team success.
  • Maintain open communication within the team to foster a productive and collaborative environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

Languages:

  • Dutch/French
  • English: Fluent.

Technical Experience:

Mandatory:

  • Proven experience with common development languages in the relevant domain.
  • Excellent understanding of software architecture, including hardware, OS, networking, databases, and middleware.
  • Strong knowledge of security procedures, standards, and development tools.
  • Proficiency in the following:
  • Java: Version 8, 17.
  • Spring Framework: Spring, SpringBoot.
  • API Technologies: REST API, XML, JSON.
  • Development Tools: Maven, GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes.
  • Testing Framework: JUnit.
