Our partner is a Belgian company with deep expertise in software development, eHealth integration and project management in the healthcare sector. Based on the broad experience of its people, our partner offers services to healthcare providers, healthcare institutions, mutual health organizations, governments and other organizations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Java Developer, you will be part of an experienced team of Java Software Engineers and Architects. This in an Agile environment. You will work on cutting edge data and security eHealth projects for individual healthcare providers (doctors, pharmacists, ….) and large healthcare organizations (hospitals, governments, health insurance companies, ….).

Within these projects, you will always work with the latest technologies (Java 11+, Kafka, Docker, Spring Boot 2.x, Typescript, Redux and React). You take the final responsibility for 1 of the products/projects.

You get the chance to work on the complete development project from A-Z: analysis, design, development, testing and documentation. Moreover, you get the chance to take on the role of Scrum Master on a regular basis, as well as work on different types of applications (Java FX, Mobile, and Web).

REQUIRED COMPETENCES & SKILLS

  • You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in ICT.
  • You have experience, knowledge, or interest in the technologies listed below:
  • Experience with development of REST services
  • Backend: Java 11+ / Kotlin, Spring Boot 2.x, Kafka, Hibernate, relational databases
  • Frontend: Javascript/Typescript, React, Redux, Yup, Jest
  • Experience with thorough test automation in a continuous integration and deployment environment (GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Containers, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with security concepts such as WS-Security, oAuth, SAML, XML encryption and XML signatures
  • You have a strong interest in IT. As we always try to work with the latest technologies, we are looking for someone who is open to continuous learning and development.
  • You like to work in an Agile approach.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and/or French in combination with English.
