The wide frequency range coverage from sub-GHz up to 30GHz, makes the job very challenging and will keep you continuously at the forefront of the latest RF/microwave technology.ResponsibilitiesMain Responsibilities
  • You will join the RF and microwave team in Belgium, and actively participate in the design and development of RF and microwave frequency circuits and systems for satellite telecommunication systems.
  • Our product portfolio serves a broad range of applications from professional equipment for satellite ground stations to consumer terminals for broadband satellite internet access. The RF/microwave team is responsible for all high frequency design in these products, resulting in a challenging and continuously evolving job content.
  • You are involved in the product definition, responsible for the design and development, and collaborate with the relevant teams for validation and production.
  • You will collaborate closely with the mechanical engineering team, digital design team, software team, system designers and interface with product management to help define the products of the future.
  • You will be involved in international projects and help coordinate efforts across different locations. Occasional travel may be requested.

QualificationsYour profile and qualificationsEducation, Skills & Qualities
  • You have a RF / microwave related Master Degree in Engineering or similar by experience.
  • You have a creative attitude supported by a strong design methodology.
  • You have experience with RF / microwave design at board level, including microstrip
  • You are familiar with modern circuit and EM simulator tools, CAD tools for board design, and scripting languages like Python.
  • Microwave (>10GHz) experience is a strong plus.
  • You are familiar with measurement equipment, e.g. spectrum analyser, network analyser, signal generators, …
