Key responsibilities:

• You supervise a team of 4 to 10 laboratory technicians (train and develop the team; plan, prioritize and control laboratory activities

• You manage the resources and proactively anticipates resource needs.

• You guarantee good communication within the team and with the management.

• You guarantee the application and maintenance of the c’GMP ( e.g.: SOP, Documentation, Audits, training, method validation).

• You assure the efficiency of Quality Control (quality, delay, results interpretation, KPI) and releases results of tests conducted in his /her laboratory.

• You assure the success of new methods transferred in his/her team

• You are an expert in tests for which you are responsible (must have in-depth understanding of scientific foundations and practical aspects) and participates in working groups in your field of competency (inside and outside GSK).

• You proactively propose testing improvement in the frame of your laboratory and guarantee the appropriate review of the scientific knowledge

• You are recognized as an expert by control Authorities, s/he provides analytical information in your field of competencies to national authorities and provides support to other GSK Bio Department ( Manufacturing, RA,..)

• You manages Critical Deviation and investigation

• You lead task force for solving QC issues

• You may play the role of QC product coordinator

Basic qualifications:

• Scientific university certificate or equivalent scientific background.

• Previous experience in the field

• Fluent in French and good knowledge of English

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in people management
