How will you make an impact?
We have a exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our business, the successful applicant will be responsible for determining the marketing strategy of Fisher Scientific Channel, for the assigned Customer Segments in Europe and actively engages with our teams across Thermo Fisher (North America, Corporate, Divisions,…), and suppliers in order to develop and deploy the strategy, grow new market opportunities and drive the base business.

What will you do?

  • Leads the development of the European Annual Marketing Segment Strategy in collaboration with the Segment Sales Director, Inside Sales Director, Business Development and Portfolio Management; partners with Marketing leadership to develop a resource plan in AOP to support the strategies.
  • Develop marketing campaigns and commercial programs to deliver profitable revenue growth for the Fisher Scientific channel proactively. As needed, respond to market dynamics, competitive developments and customer needs/expectations to deliver on the Fisher Scientific channel value proposition.
  • Responsible for conducting market segment and customer analysis, market research, developing, coordinating and executing marketing campaigns and programs through all relevant channels (e.g.: sales, digital marketing, social, SEM, events, etc) in order to allow us to deliver meaningful results.
  • Aligns customer requirements with the capabilities of Thermo Fisher Scientific in order to deliver a differentiated segment value proposition represented by a portfolio of products and services.
  • For the assigned application/workflow, collaborate with the Product Management and Sales teams (as applicable) to coordinate annual updates and enrichment of our application workflows.
  • Coordinates communication to sales and customers in order to allow them to understand how our products and solutions will enable innovation and productivity for the allocated segment and application.


How will you get here?

  • Marketing experience is essential for this role, you must be able to demonstrate how you have successful executed campaigns, promotions etc.
  • Science Degree based degree or equivalent in a life science subject
  • Demonstrated ability to work across several functions and teams in the business. Able to motivate and mobilize individuals and teams behind strategic plans and marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute in a results-driven organization through a high level of personal motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Digital marketing experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, experience with MS Access is advantageous
  • Willingness and ability to travel within your specified geographic region, estimated 10% travel
  • Full driving license
