What is Konligo
Konligo is a start-up willing to encourage the event industry towards its sustainable transition.
To do so, Konligo creates innovative, reusable and eye-catching pop-up structures: with recycled aluminium and fully assembled in Belgium.
These structures present several advantages. First, the set-up time can reduce from days to minutes dependant of the size. Then, the qualitive structures have a large life span, encouraging multi- and reuse. Last but not least, the design of the structures is unprecedented and can be customized easily using a fixed frame but altering visuals and decorations.
Today we are a small passionate group of people and eager to find an enthusiastic person to join our team, helping us making Konligo become the leader in sustainable stand and pop-up structures.

What is the job about
At Konligo we don’t like using fancy job titles, as we all do a lot of various tasks to keep the business running. However, you could compare your responsibilities with the ones of a COO. This means you’ll therefore be our operation person, managing the whole supply chain of our products until the deliveries and/or installation.
Your main tasks will be
Contact with suppliers:
- ordering all the necessary parts to have enough in stock and making sure we don’t miss anything
- running after all our suppliers to make sure they deliver on time
- having discussions with the suppliers to understand how we can keep the costs low while going for a sustainable way of production (human and resources based)
Assembling the structures for customers, for our rental department and for prototyping
- Manufacturing the structures in our workshop (mainly drilling & assembling)
- Coordination and supervision of interims, interns and job students to help with the assembly
- Optimising the assembling line so that we can assemble our structures in a fast and efficient way
- Responsible to set up a quality control strategy
Managing our rental department
- Coordination of the delivery/installation and return/dismantle
- Going to the sites to install the structures during events
- Verify the structures, cleaning them together with the membranes and other covering items once everything is back in stock after an event
- Keeping the stock rental up to date
Inventory management:keeping track of material and stock flows (in and out) using our ERP platform
Managing our workshop: keeping the workspace clean and tidy to ensure a productive manufacturing line
After sales: checking with customers if there are any issues with their product and how we can help so that their experience stays positive and unique
Responsible to set up a quality control strategy
Helping with the day-to-day tasks typically related to a start-up (can be very broad)
What we look for
It is always better to come to the office and see your colleagues smiling!
So we look for someone optimistic and enthusiastic but also with the following competences:
- MUST HAVE: You are well organised: you like to plan (you even plan all your personal appointments in your agenda), you keep everything up to date, your computer desktop is almost empty, etc. At home you love keeping everything clean, paying the invoices on time, organising your weekends, etc. In short: friends tend to call you over-organised
- You are not afraid to switch between intellectual and manual work.
- You have a good French, Dutch and English level. As you should be able to communicate with our French and Dutch speaking customers and suppliers, and with us since our common language at work is English.
- You prefer to call instead of sending e-mails for urgent things. You know that this is the best way to be efficient and fast in communication.
- You are fascinated by our vision and mission and are willing to work in a start-up with a family spirit.
- You like working in a team and you dare to speak your own mind.
- You are independent, proactive and confident.
- You like challenges, which is why you do not choose a traditional job and prefer to work for a start-up with all its advantages and disadvantages.
- You are flexible. If necessary, you can work long hours to achieve your goals (this is certainly not a habit with us).
- Status is not so important to you, but the impact we have with our product is. You therefore integrate a team where everyone is equal and respects each other. We don’t have a classical hierarchy ;)
- You realise that sustainability is important, and that it is more and more about the positive impact one can achieve, and less about money.
- You have a driving licence B and are not afraid to drive with big vans.
- You have experience in stuff like supply chain, logistics, stock management, etc.
- You are a handy person.
- If possible but not mandatory, you have a technical background (like engineering, product development).
