Objective
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order to Cash Analyst to join our finance team. As an Order to Cash analyst, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end order to cash process for a portfolio of key customers, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions related to customer orders, invoicing, collections, and cash application. You will collaborate closely with various internal departments, including sales, customer service, and accounts receivable, to ensure seamless order processing and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
What will you do in the role of Order to Cash Analyst?
- Manage the order to cash process, including order entry, credit checks, invoicing, collections, and cash application.
- Review sales orders and contracts for accuracy and completeness, and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of customer invoices, and payments in the financial system.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure inquiries on pricing, terms, and discounts are clear.
- Conduct credit evaluations and monitor credit limits to minimize the risk of bad debt and maintain healthy customer relationships in collaboration with credit & collection team.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments, resolve payment disputes, and implement collection strategies in collaboration with credit & collection team.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting of accounts receivable balances.
- Analyze customer accounts and aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and implement appropriate actions in collaboration with credit & collection team.
- Prepare periodic reports on key order to cash metrics, such as days sales outstanding (DSO).
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations, industry best practices, and technological advancements to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.

What do we expect from you?
- You obtained a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Experience with order to cash or accounts receivable processes is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge and/or experience in Salesforce is desirable.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations (e.g., revenue recognition guidelines) is a plus.
- Team Player: strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset. Ability to work effectively within a team and across various departments.
- You have a good knowledge of English and Dutch or English and French.
