Job Description :
The Process Engineer is responsible for:
- Creation & maintaining the BOM (Bill of Material) for new contracts :Based on the engineering BOM (Bill Of Material) and during the industrialization phase of a new contract, create and maintain the Manufacturing BOM in the ERP System.
- Definition & set-up of methods & means for new projects :During the industrialization phase of a new contract or reengineering, together with the rest of the project team, elaborate the most optimized manufacturing processes and guarantee that the customers’ specifications are respected.
- Change Management Support :In case ofan internal Change Processes (Notification) or a mandatory change from the customer during the lifetime of a program, adapt correctly the technical documents.
- Change impact analyses : When a customer specification is updated, analyse the impact it could have on our internal processes and flow down the information.
- Technical support : Support the rest of his team and other departments such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations,...
- Corporate support : Conduct transversal analysis on customers requirements.
Profile :
Education :Engineering degree (civil or industrial) preferred in Mechanics or Electro Mechanics
Languages: Dutch and/or French and good Technical English
Skills / Experience :
- Strong Analytical Competencies
- Conscientious and organized
- Accurate and efficient
- Team player
- Interested in Special Processes and Assembly
- Able to read and understand Customer’s documents (drawings, parts lists, configuration documents, specifications)
- PC applications & office : Very good knowledge
- Enovia, CATIA V5 and 3D Composer is a plus
- Experience in an ERP system
