Human Resources Associate

POLITICO is looking for a Human Resources Associate (Talent Acquisition & Development)to join our pioneering and growing media company in Brussels.

As a member of the HR department you will have a central role in the POLITICO Group, comprising POLITICO Europe’s media organization and our sister company, DII, a B2B marketing and consulting services agency in Paris.

You would be a great fit if you are passionate about people, their well-being, and are dedicated to contributing to an enriching experience for your co-workers across Europe through excellent recruitment and training practices.

You will act as an ambassador for POLITICO & DII’s culture and values and enjoy working with strategic and operational tasks in our fast-moving environment.

Your Role:

Learning & Development

• Help to develop and implement our learning offer for our staff
• Coordinate training & development programs, workshops and seminars
• Monitor the yearly budget
• Develop & monitor the training module of the HRIS system
• Be the first point of contact for all training & development questions

Assist with Talent Acquisition

• Post job descriptions on the careers page
• Assist with application screening, interview scheduling, and follow up of application process
• Coordinate the recruitment inbox
• Act as back up when the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is out of office

You will also…

• Participate in other HR projects with your teammates (process management, review and implementation of benefits, reporting, HRIS, office life experience)
• Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency

Your Profile:

• Have completed a Bachelor or Master in a relevant field (Human Resources, Communications, Business, etc.) with a strong motivation to work in HR
• Minimum of 1 year experience in recruitment and/or training coordination, a recruitment agency experience is a real plus
• You are comfortable in an “expat environment”, any experience in an international setting or environment is welcome
• You go the extra mile to help our new joiners settle in at POLITICO, including assisting expats who move to Belgium to work with us
• You have excellent organizational, coordination and time management skills
• You show excellent French/English communication skills, both verbal and written – German would be a real asset, any other language is a plus!
• You are flexible and can work efficiently in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment
