Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated L1 Desktop Support Engineer to provide day-to-day technical assistance and support to end-users. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of IT systems, along with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line desktop support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
  • Support user account management (Active Directory, O365, password resets, etc.).
  • Handle incident tickets, track progress, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with setting up new devices, network connections, and printers.
  • Escalate issues to L2/L3 support teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and configurations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of IT/Desktop Support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office Suite, Active Directory, O365.
  • Basic knowledge of network connectivity troubleshooting (LAN, VPN, TCP/IP).
  • Experience in supporting IT hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver onsite support.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch/French is a plus.
