Overview:

As our Quality Release Engineer, you will:

Perform device validation on new products and product features
Perform functional testing and traffic testing on our products
Create complex setups to test our devices with different use cases.
Perform root cause analysis on issues where possible when reporting them in our systems
Effectively engage with customers through our customer support department to understand their requirements and advocate their experience
Help resolve technical and on-going use case challenges
Assist our technical writers in the creation of comprehensive product documentation
Proactively engage with our engineering teams to exchange on specific product requirements and to Facilitate smooth integration of the components
Troubleshoot the integrated products where possible
Aspire towards a thorough understanding of satellite communication technologies and components

Responsibilities:

As a prerequisite to become our Quality Release Engineer you:

Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences, Telecommunication, Aerospace, ...)
Master Linux and some scripting languages (bash, ruby, python, perl, ...)
Potentially have a first experience in test automation and can demonstrate an interest in networking (in a Linux context)
Are conversational in English
Love to communicate with a broad range of technical experts and to share information
Are inquisitive and like to learn daily
Have a profound interest in satellite communication and new technologies

Qualifications:

Once on board you will:

Be part of our Product Quality Assurance team based in our headquarters in Sint-Niklaas (Belgium)
Travel sporadically towards our customers and work in close collaboration with team members based in Romania and Germany
Be working on various satellite communication applications and devices ranging from consumer satellite modems to high-end modulators and demodulators
Be involved in a wide range of technological domains, from software over network and system engineering to electronics
