Our client in metallurgy sector is seeking a dedicated and experienced Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of products, systems, or processes within their organisation.

In this role as Reliability Engineer, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse data and trends to identify potential risks
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies
  • Evaluate and improve the reliability of systems and processes
  • Conduct root cause analyses in case of failure or malfunction
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for optimisation
  • Apply reliability engineering methods and tools
  • Monitor performance indicators and improvements, reporting on them
  • Train and mentor staff in best practices for reliability

About you:

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Reliability Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical
  • Professional certifications in reliability such as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
  • Experience applying reliability analysis methods such as Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) or Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
  • Knowledge of industrial quality and reliability standards
  • Practical experience in preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Project management skills to lead reliability improvement initiatives
  • Ability to use Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software and data analysis tools
  • Experience working cross-functionally with interdepartmental teams to integrate reliability practices
  • Excellent level in English and French
