As Risk, Fraud and Payments manager you will be responsible for improving the payments flow and processes, and monitoring and preventing any risks that cause a negative impact on business. You will take ownership for our fraud policy across multiple markets and make sure that loyal customers are not affected by our fraud policy. S/he will ensure that all procedures are implemented and compliant with the existing laws (ie AML, GDPR).

Your Role

• You detect fraud using analytical tools that provide information on irregularities in data. Based on your findings, you optimize the current fraud and payment processes to improve the payment rates and bad debt ratio and to prevent fraud.
• You monitor (reversed) payments and chargebacks of the different payment methods used and define root causes. You develop plans to increase the payment acceptance rate.
• You take ownership for our fraud policy and make sure that loyal customers are not affected by our fraud policy.
• You make sure that all the KYC, transactions procedures are compliant with the existing laws (ie AML, GDPR) and you will be responsible to implement the legal requirements inside your team in a timely and economically sustainable manner.
• You monitor fraud patterns in deposit, withdrawal, and registration behaviour within SLA. You also monitor card and other payment transactions’ fraud alerts daily and take necessary action to protect customers and the bank.
• Reduce fraud and bonus abuse and work closely together with the team to realize improvement in the fraud setup. Identify fraud patterns through the monitoring of high-risk customers and irregular transaction patterns.
• Recommending improvements to our payments and antifraud products so that we adopt highly innovative and cutting-edge payments, antifraud, and identification functionality to support business growth.
• Providing support to the operational and other business units of the organization on fraud-related matters.
• Report risk information and findings to management in a timely manner.

Requirements for the position

Profile

• You have 6+ years of experience in anti-fraud and payments operations preferably in the gaming sector.
• You have at least 3+ years’ experience of direct people management
• You have a track record of an understanding of the link between payments functionality and fraud prevention.
• You have experience in interpreting database data and other customer use analysis.
• You have knowledgeable about AML and CTF obligations and regulations.

• You have excellent communication skills in English, Dutch and/or French
• You have the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously effectively and efficiently.
• You have the ability to make good judgment calls under pressure and when working autonomously.
• You have the ability to multi-task and problem solve under pressure.
