For an enterprise active in process automation, measurement instrumentation, services and solutions for industrial process engineering we are looking for a Sales Order Entry Processor (m/f/x).

As Sales Order Entry Processor (m/f/x) you are responsible for processing the orders from customers. You will manage the entire order flow, from receipt of the customer’s order to the delivery and invoicing to the customer.

You will be the main customer interface for order-related communications and you will be interacting with (local and international) internal departments (Sales, Logistics, Accounting) in order to ensure the highest standard of customer service.

Your role
  • Verify the customer order information; check on completeness, prices, contract terms,..
  • Handling the sales order entry
  • Purchasing order creation and ensuring follow up
  • Sending the order confirmation to the customer
  • Ensuring follow up on order related issues; technical, commercial, logistical, administrative, financial,..
  • Ensuring the order delivery time with internal departments, warehouses and plants
  • Maintaining the communication flow with customers on orders and status
  • Monitoring orders to ensure that adjustments to orders are taken care of
  • Handling return shipment from customers
  • Processing credit/debits relating to order processing
  • Providing order related documentation (QA, Vlarem, etc) to customers
  • Keeping the administration within the order processing department up to date
  • Understanding and ensuring that departmental KPI’s, objectives and guidelines are followed
  • Supporting and acting as back-up for the local warehouse activities
  • Assisting finance in the resolution of payments issues by customers
  • Coordinating activities of the team in order to ensure a high level of customer service
Profil

You have at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and you enjoy making sure the entire sales order process is successful.

You are accurate and pay attention to details. You can switch easily between the different assignments and you stay motivated under pressure. In addition, you like to think along about how things can be done even more efficiently and better. You like solving problems and you have a sense of urgency when handling issues.

Besides, you’re customer oriented and enjoy being part of a team but still have the drive to work on your own initiative.

Furthermore, if you have a professional working knowledge of Dutch, French and English, spoken and written, and you’re able to easily use Excel and Word, then you’re the one we’re looking for!

Not required but would be an asset if you would have an interest for technical/industrial products, some SAP experience and team management skills
