Team/division Description

Your team and your responsibilities

The team’s mission is to align Supply Chain objectives and create world class logistics through collaboration and strategy creation. The Strategic Development team works as the right hand of our Vice President to drive all Supply chain functions to achieve our mid-term goals, exceeding customer quality and service expectations at lowest cost and is acting as window to corporate functions in the company.

Your project

As intern in the Strategic Development team, you will support driving our digitalisation strategy. You will work closely with our divisional teams to identify opportunities for automation and digitization, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness throughout the supply chain process.

  • Support the management team to uplift the digital skills of our members in Project management, Production Planning, Production parts-, Vehicle- and Service parts logistics)
  • Research, evaluate and propose digital ‘low-code’ solutions, technologies, and platforms to streamline low-value tasks enabling our member to focus on high-impact activities.
  • Drive a project-based initiative together with IT and designated division to bring novelties into Supply Chain operations (AI technologies, Machine Learning…) .
  • Establish a ’Workplace Digitalization’ Center for knowledge and best practice sharing, promoting exchange across individuals.
  • Cooperate with internal IT champions, to develop the governance structure with clear roles & responsibilities and ensure a consistent and sustainable approach amongst all Supply Chain Divisions

Your Profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Pursuing a degree in business, marketing, communications, information systems or a related field.
  • Ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights to guide strategy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings and ideas effectively.
  • Proactive approach in identifying challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team environment.

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
