Talencia is currently looking for a Service Delivery Manager for one of his clients.

Location: Belgium

The consultant will function as an Application Solutions Architect within the Applications Team. Their main role is to set the overall technical vision and high-level design for application solutions, collaborating with both the company’s in-house and outsourced development vendors.

Mission

Architectural Design: Leading solution architecting by creating high-level application and integrated solution designs

Technical Vision: Finding the best technical solutions to solve existing business requirements and problems

Governance and Compliance: Ensuring that architecture deliverables are high-quality and consistent with the organization’s internal IT standards, policies, and enterprise governance strategies (including Togaf)

Optimization: Looking for opportunities for reuse and identifying standard patterns for common solutions to minimize overall waste

Evaluation: Conducting system architecture evaluations to define target state architectures and transitional roadmaps, while ensuring maximum integration with existing applications

Design Review: Technically reviewing application and solution designs delivered by in-house and outsourced teams and contributing to enterprise architecture governance

Profile

Architect Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, including proven experience creating architecture solution visions and high-level designs

Modeling Languages: Proficiency in UML and BPMN. Understanding ArchiMate is desirable

Technologies: Experience with Java, Python, and Spring Boot

Processes: Proven, relevant experience working on reverse engineering processes

Frameworks: Strong experience in an IT Service Management environment, including ITIL and IT Security Awareness

Methodologies: Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies, including CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevOps/DevSecOps

Advantage: Power System Industry experience is a huge advantage
