Experlogix is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our Xpertdoc Support Team in Belgium to provide responsive technical guidance and software support to our Xpertdoc customers worldwide. Alongside three colleagues in Belgium, you will be working together with your colleagues in Canada, and with customers located throughout EMEA and Asia on a daily basis. You will leverage your technical skills and expertise with your excellent custom service and communication skills to provide timely and knowledgeable technical support. The Level 1 Technical Support Specialist is responsible for technical support and communication with Xpertdoc’s existing customers within Europe and needs to:

  • Maintain strong customer relationships by providing quality service to customers.
  • Establish and maintain a knowledge base and forum to support clients.
  • Monitor the arrival of tickets and offer troubleshooting (level 1).
  • Inform customers of the status of application availability (cloud services).
  • Provide emergency technical support outside of regular business hours.

Job Requirements

Candidates must have demonstrated work experience that includes a combination of the following skill set and experience:

  • Experience analysing and resolving support issues.
  • Detail oriented, demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Enjoy communicating with customers to resolve technical issues.
  • Customer focused with a drive for excellent customer satisfaction.
  • High energy, self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
  • You are social, a strong communicator and eager to learn.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills in English.
  • Basic verbal, written and listening skills in Dutch.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.

Location

You will work from Xpertdoc EMEA HQ in Temse but will also be trained and supported by team members based in Canada.
