Trimble Transport and Logistics is looking for a Test Engineer to strengthen our Solid team. The Software Test Engineer has as main responsibility to guard the quality of the products that are released and provided by Solid.

Key aspects of your daily work as a Test Engineer are:
  • Following the Product Release cycles, you will be responsible for testing the newly added functionalities and bug correction. You will validate the test results against the functional requirements.
  • You guard the quality of the products by continuously running regression tests (automatically), monitoring the results & reporting them.
  • You report defects in a detailed way (after detailed analysis in jira
  • You communicate proactively with different departments, mainly Product management, Customer services and R&D, to gather information, clarify requirements, report bugs, …
Skills & Requirements
  • Good understanding of software development technologies
  • Technical background (Java, Javascript, Selenium, xml, web services, SQL, microservices, SaaS application architecture is a plus)
  • Experience in testing complex software products and building functional test scenarios
  • You know how to write good functional/technical & help documents
  • You worked with different testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of telematics, transportation industry, driving times regulation is a plus
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences, Telecommunication, Electronics or similar) with relevant experience in testing
  • You are fully proficient in English and French
  • European residency- and work permit required
