ROLE

- Responsible of the Accounts Payable, contact with the suppliers, booking of AP invoices.
- Perform month end procedures for all aspects of the management accounts including specific balance sheet accounts, inventory and accruals
- Ensure financial processing and authorization procedures are applied in accordance with approved procedures
- Communicate effectively within the finance team assisting the team to operate at a high standard of efficiency and for the business
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements for relevant entity in accordance with
- International Accounting Standards
- Supporting the business team for supplier and distribution contractual adherence to agreements
- Produce ad hoc detailed analysis of performance. (KPI’s) / Dashboard management
- Be a key, participative member of the team, ensuring a commercial focus building upon Finance experience
- Provide monthly briefing on margins and expenditure reports. Highlighting key variances/deviations from budget and forecasts and offering recommendations to remedy
- Provide early visibility for cash flow requirements for all currency accounts in conjunction with group cash flow management
- Obtain and demonstrate sufficient knowledge and provide support of roles within your finance peer group to ensure business continuity during times of annual leave, absence and busy periods
- Assist ad-hoc projects

REQUIREMENTS

- 2-3 year experience in a similar position
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting preferred
- Accounting or finance experience within private industry preferred
- Results driven, solutions oriented, with high level commercial and business attitude
- Experience in Accounts payable is preferred
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively all financial matters relating to the Business Units.
- Trustworthiness and discretion when dealing with confidential information
- Desire to professionally and commercially develop within a fast paced, growing business
- Experience in or with the pharmaceutical industry is an asset
- Ability to work both collaboratively as a team across various functions and regions, and to work independently in an ambiguous, constantly-changing environment
- Experience of working at a Global level
- Ability to think strategically, including defining objectives and developing a framework to achieve success
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to visualize, articulate, conceptualize or solve problems by making decisions/drawing conclusions that are data driven and rationale given the available information
- Outstanding influencing and negotiation skills employed at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
- Advanced excel skills, including pivot tables, V-lookup
- Fluent in French and English. Any additional language is an asset
