Salesforce’s Head of Business Operations is at the forefront of growing the world’s most innovative company. The team handles a huge diversity of work, partnering with Salesforce senior executives to drive consistent success in a constantly changing business environment.
We are looking for a passionate, driven and innovative leader to take the team to the next level as Head of Business Operations in Northern Europe. The person will be responsible for helping set the strategy for the region, effective planning across the entire business cycle, delivering a strong operational cadence to achieve our quarterly objectives, providing best-in-class business insights fed by a scalable data-driven approach and leading cross-functional transformational initiatives to take advantage of market opportunities. This person will also proactively partner with the senior executive team and champion our unique culture to foster talent development within the business operations team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Northern Europe’s Business Operations team across all countries, involving recruitment, on-boarding, development, performance and people management.
- Closely partner with sales executives to develop, execute and track the regional long term strategy and quarterly business plans, including actionable recommendations and a strong cadence to achieve our demanding growth targets.
- Own and drive the annual Go-To-Market planning cycle, including the design and execution of Northern Europe’s Sales coverage model, headcount planning, budget allocation, org design, territory definition and sales quotas.
- Interact with various cross-functional groups at senior levels (e.g. Sales Leadership Team, Executive Leadership Team, Marketing, Finance, Recruitment, etc.) to bring business insights and drive execution.
- Own the data analytics & reporting strategy, making sure we continue to innovate, optimise, automate and scale as the business grows.
- Become the point of contact for any transformational project sponsored by the ELT and leading problem solving discussions.
- Strong people management skills with a proven track record of building and scaling large teams, managing through others and nurturing future leaders.
- Executive presence and demonstrated success building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing and collaborating in cross-functional environments.
- Solid business process experience across multiple domains, particularly “lead to cash” and all the underlying steps of the sales cycle, with a strong ability to get things done.
- Extensive experience (several planning cycles) in developing ambitious and robust Go-To-Market strategies in fast-paced, innovative and competitive business landscapes.
- Courageous communicator; experience in presenting, speaking and writing before large diverse teams. Capable of crafting messages on behalf of senior execs, finding the right style for every situation.
- Ability to creatively solve problems with limited resources and input. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment (sense of urgency, ability to adjust on the fly to unplanned situations, 80/20 top down approach and own PoV
- Demonstrated experience building a thriving culture aligned to Salesforce values.
