Job Purpose

Managing and leading the Customer Satisfaction group responsible for processing customer orders in order to prepare production planning for the next 12 months. Also includes managing the Shipping Administration department in order to ship products in line with customer expectations.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Responsibility 1 : Customer Contacts

Building relationships with customers (internal and external) to obtain optimal cooperation.

First point of contact in the escalation process in case of problems (after the Sales Liaison).

Responsibility 2 : Customer Order Management

" Checking, following up, adjusting, prioritising and taking decisions regarding open orders to the customer in order to guarantee the promised customer orders with the predetermined delivery reliability to the customer and in order to obtain a correct match between the number of units sent and the sales plan.

Responsibility 3 : Manage Available to Promise (ATP) and Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)

‘Manage and prepare ATP and RCCP in order to have a balanced master plan in order to align customer demand with current production capacity and to have short- and long-term actions conform to the production plan.’

Responsibility 4 : Management of finished goods inventory (including Suffolk)"Review, investigate and decide daily on the stock in the warehouse in order to have a correct view on the stock of pieces and to have good agreements on delivery quantities and deadlines.

Responsibility 5 : MRP run

‘ Set up, load and eliminate discrepancies in the parameters in MRP so that both suppliers and internal departments have the most balanced and accurate picture of the production planning.’

Responsibility 6 : Internal communication/coordination

‘Frequently inform and obtain information from various departments (Production, Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, IT, Finance) in order to .’

Responsibility 7 : Managing, directing and monitoring Customs Processes and Legislation
