Publication Lead - Psoriasis

We are looking for a Publication Lead who is articulate, motivated and personable to join our Dermatology Global Medical Affairs department based out of our office in Brussels, Belgium

About the Job:

You will be a key contributor to strengthening UCB scientific leadership in advancing disease and molecule understanding to our external stakeholders’ communities, ultimately improving patients outcomes. You will drive publication strategy and deliverables in line with the scientific communication strategy of the molecule and maximizing the value of the data tailored to each audience needs and act as a publication expert.

Who you’ll work with

You will provide evidence generation expertise and support to team members and internal stakeholders in close collaboration with the Indication Global Medical Leads and other internal/external stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

• Provide a clear vision of UCB’s publication activities and processes.
• Maximize the reach and impact of UCB data, by developing and implementing comprehensive annual publication plans.
• Develop publications that articulate clearly and accurately the relevance and value of the molecule data and tailored to audiences, also aligned with molecule strategy.
• Drive the development of scientific communications and publications strategy in psoriasis that provides grounding for future communication strategy.
• Critically reviews publications to ensure that they are published to the highest standards and that all authors and/or contributors comply with journal or congress guidelines.
• Leads or participates in the creation, implementation and maintenance of systems, procedures, and tools to ensure efficient, compliant publications
• Develop and manage the publication budget.

Interested? For this position, you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:

• Masters Degree in related field
• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment
• Person publication record and proven ability to execute targeted data analyses
• Knowledge and experience of Dermatology and preferably psoriasis
• Experience using pharmaceutical technology solutions (e.g. Datavision)
