Make your mark for patients
To strengthen our Analytical Processes & Operations - Stability Operations team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Sample library and stability management operator, based in Braine, Belgium.
About the role
As Sample library and stability management operator, you will ensure the transfer, installation and management of the CMC Development sample library within the Analytical Processes & Operations department. You will also support operational and administrative activities applied to NBE (New Biological Entities) and NCE (New Chemical Entities) product samples as well as stability studies.
Who will you work with
As Sample library and stability management operator, you will support the Stability Operation Team Leader in the management of Sample Libraries. You will collaborate with the other Stability Operations Partners and other departments to ensure and participate in an interface with the QC, development, manufacturing and supply chain departments
What will you do
- Manage products of samples libraries from reception to storage and distribution
- Prepare aliquots in a GMP environment
- Ensure good document management (creation and update, life cycles and compliance with good documentary practices)
- Ensure monitoring and maintenance of equipments and climatic chambers for sample libraries
- Manage the samples in the sample library by the use of database and inventory
- Develop expertise in LIMS, ELN, SAP and other software used by the department. Organize, plan and provide the necessary training to colleagues according to the demand for these same software
- Actively participate in weekly/monthly planning meetings, propose solutions, demonstrate creativity and pro-activity to ensure compliance with planning and performance.
- Propose and participate on a daily basis in continuous improvement projects and propose solutions to reduce the constraints related to his/her function, with the aim of increasing the quality and efficiency of his/her work within the department on a daily basis
- Participate in the resolution of deviations in Source Quality (encoding, impact analysis, analysis appropriate to root causes, management and closure of investigations)
- Report any GMP deviations to the Manager
- Demonstrate flexibility and proactivity in order to keep customer satisfaction as a goal
- Act as a back-up for direct colleagues or the manager, in accordance with the manager’s instructions and after having followed appropriate training
Interested? For this position, you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Laboratory with environment regulated by GMP is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and proactivity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit
- Fluent in French and good writing skill in english
