You will join the team of the European Architectural Sustainability Department active in 4 domains : Sustainable Products, Plants environmental compliance and safety, Diversity-Equity-Inclusion, Carbon Net-Zero trajectory. Glass wastes, known as cullet, is a key driver to significantly reduce AGC carbon footprint. Therefore, we are willing to increase its consumption in our furnaces from 30% average to 50% by 2030 with internal, pre-consumer but also post-consumer cullet (typically issued from end-of-life windows, facade and others). To achieve the goals, we are aiming at determining and implementing the relevant business models in Europe to collect, recycle and use these post-consumer volumes in our furnaces.

Your primary objective will be to further contribute reducing AGC material carbon footprint by leveraging glass circularity. You will be in charge of analyzing, elaborating and setting up relevant business model to recover post-consumer cullet across Western and Central Europe.

Your main activities:

  • Carry out deep analysis and market research namely through direct contact with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Elaborate relevant business model to collect, recycle and use post-consumer cullet sources taking into consideration national / regional ecosystems
  • Set up the considered business model via Proof-of-Concept within Western and Central Europe
  • Organize the scale up of the validated business model across our businesses

  • You have a master degree in business, engineering or other by experience
  • You have a first proven working experience in strategy in a B2B commercial/business development role or consulting
  • You are passionate by innovation, circular economy and environmental solutions in the manufacturing sector
  • You are analytical, rigorous, attentive to details with the ability to see the big picture and to synthetize complex matters
  • You have communication, presentation and interpersonal skills for both external and internal stakeholders on all organizational levels in multicultural environments
  • You have good command of project management skills, with capacities to handle several priorities and meet deadlines
  • You are fluent in English, any other EU language skills are welcome
  • You are available for short business travels within Western and Central Europe
  • You want to contribute to further reducing our company carbon foot-print during a 12 months contract
