This is People Leader and Technology Delivery Role. The position would be responsible to provide cost-effective solutions and support day to day business needs for operations. This position will manage a team of IS professionals, responsible for implementing, monitoring and upgrading Application components (3rd party on prem products, home grown applications, Cloud SAAS, etc). New application development, external product integration and current application maintenance will follow Industry Best practices and Oregon Tool IS Guidelines.

Reports to : VP IT Digital Transformation
Primary Duties and Responsibilities, other duties maybe assigned as business needs determine :
- Leadership & Management
- Organize team for efficient use of talents.
- Motivate & Develop team members.
- Manage team resources for effective support of business needs.
- Lead the changes for smooth transitions.
- Insure proper application of policies and procedures.
- Manage Application Budget.
- Organize efficient communication between Application Team and other structures of the organization (local departments, global shared services, …)
- Technology Administration
- Ensure all Application Technology is properly installed and managed, with appropriate integration into Oregon Tool
- Ensure appropriate support agreements are organized with vendors, on critical components of Application.
- Maintain Application components renewal plan to keep technology up to date, based on Oregon Tool IS rules.
- Ensure the appropriate Application components is provided to users to allow them performing their operations.
- Administration
- Develop local Application strategies, policies and procedures, in perfect integration with Oregon Tool IS rules.
- Manage all administration related to the Application team.
- Maintain appropriate level of job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field required
- Business application Development experience is a must. Manufacturing Industry Experience is preferred.
- Should have experience in 3rd party product implementations.
- Cloud experience is preferred.
- Should have experience leading teams of 5-8 FTEs.
- Should have experience dealing with external partners for product evaluation, implementation and Operational Support.
- Should have experience dealing with Business Leaders and Upper Management
- Should be a Team leader, capable of sharing a vision and motivating his team members.
- Should be a Team Leader, capable of organizing team work and supporting team members by appropriate management and development of talents.
- Be an Agent of change management.
- Have Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Have Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should have Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements.
- Have Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies or solutions.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Have Ability to be flexible and creative.
- Should be self-motivated, capable to manage own workload with minimum supervision.
- Should be Project/Deadline oriented with capacity to deal with complexity.
- Should be fluent in Written & verbal communication in French & English.
- Have Good communication / Presentation skills.
