As our new District Manager you will lead and coach a team of 7 Territory Managers (primary care) and 3 Specialist Managers (specialty care) in the Human Pharma business sector. With your leadership, coaching and business management skills, you will continually motivate and coach your team to exceed all client expectations and achieve all sales targets.

This is an exceptional opportunity for you as you will have total accountability for creating and executing an agile business plan to recruit and retain customers through strategic targeting, exceptional customer relationship management and the leadership of a high performing team.

Further key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the definition and flawless execution of team customer/ account plans based on the local expert engagement plan

  • Cross functional coordination and collaboration to implement integrated customer journeys according to customer preferences

  • Actively collaborate with the team to operate and optimize the implementation of the customer engagement strategy

  • Make efficient use of resources based on business and market analysis and Brand Strategies

  • Coach, inspire, develop, and manage the team according to effective communication, business solutions and account planning to provide high quality outcome

  • Act as driver for change management and manage potentials and succession in respective team, looking for permanent improvement of skills and talent

  • Ensure cross-functional alignment as well as high qualitative internal and external communication flow.


What you should bring to the team:

  • Ability to provide inspirational leadership (at least 3 years of leadership experience) to a high performing creative sales team

  • At least 3 -4 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical sector is preferred

  • Able to develop the sales region on a strategic level

  • Proactive driver of digital approaches

  • Previous business planning experience including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling

  • Innovative mind-set: you come up with innovative ideas to respond to different market challenges and / or client needs

  • Fluent in Dutch and advanced levels in French and English is mandatory

  • Lastly, you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutics, Medicine or Business Administration or similar.
