As our new Territory Manager (Pet Vet), you are responsible for the promotion of our animal health products. To be able to perform this function well, you know the market, the customers, the products, the competitors, and you are aware of the latest developments. In addition, you build relationships with your contacts and you know how to maintain them.
Your customers are “Health Care Professionals”. To set up and implement activities you will closely cooperate with your sales, medical, market access and marketing colleagues.
This is a field- based role that will cover the regions of Antwerp and Limburg. You will report directly to the local Sales Manager Pet & Equine.
Further key responsibilities:
Develop the sales of our Animal Health (AH) Pet Vets products, their market share and further strengthen the image of Boehringer Ingelheim AH (Net Promotor Score) in line with the objectives
Develop, execute, and evaluate the activity plan for the region
Manage the HCP customer portfolio in the dedicated territory, respecting and implementing the Customer segmentation strategy
Foster collaboration and ensure sharing of information with all internal stakeholders.
Analyse current and potential sales of your HCP portfolio and explore how to fully exploit this potential
Use all the elements of the tactical plan to increase customer experience and by this, the value of each customer
Continuously enrich the segmentation of your HCP portfolio by updating their data and surveys to improve the customer knowledge and make customer experience more personalized.
What you should bring to the team:
At least 3 years of work experience in Sales preferably in animal health or similar environment
Native level of Dutch language is mandatory and good knowledge of French and English.
High affinity and desire for adapting digital sales tools
Customer focused attitude and commercial mindset to go the extra mile and achieve your goals
Well-developed communication, influencing and listening skills
Natural networker: a positive and high energy personality
Proactive creativity, and taking smart risks and necessary entrepreneurship knowledge
You demonstrate a winning spirit and create a can-do team mentality
Strong planning and time management skills
Lastly, a Bachelor or master’s degree or relevant working experience.
