About the Role:

We are seeking an IT Director, EU to oversee our IT operations in Europe, ensuring alignment with our global IT strategy. In this key leadership role, you will develop and execute IT strategies, manage infrastructure and applications, and drive innovation to support business objectives. This position reports to the Global Head of IT with a dotted line to the VP, General Manager EU.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, business leaders, and partners.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies, roadmaps, and portfolios tailored to business needs.
  • Oversee IT budgeting and financial performance across EU operations.
  • Ensure compliance with global policies regarding information security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a talented IT team across Belgium and Ireland.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee service delivery.
  • Ensure IT projects and portfolios align with enterprise architecture and regulatory standards.
  • Stay ahead of technology trends and contribute to enterprise IT strategy.

What We are Looking For:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally overseeing regional or enterprise-wide functions.
  • Strong expertise in IT strategy, vendor management, infrastructure development, and operations.
  • A proven track record of leading IT teams, managing budgets, and delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience implementing Information Security and Privacy programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is a real plus.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch both verbal and written, is required.
