The challenge:

Join us to Develop and coordinate an aligned long-term Innovation pipeline, based on the strategic vision for our portfolio roadmap and selected platforms to secure a healthy contribution to the Zone EU growth (#1 brewer in EUR).

The selected person to take this role is expected to elevate the impact of the position through thought-leadership combined with drive and initiative to convert strategic direction into prioritized Big Bet opportunities for key brands to shape our Zone future portfolio actively.

The role:

Innovation Portfolio development
  • Installing a clear strategic vision for Zone Innovation pipeline building.
  • Developing and sustaining a balanced short- to long term portfolio of innovation initiatives. Prioritizing Big Bet initiatives that have an ability to scale (significantly exceed the Innovation minimum thresholds), across markets / brands.
  • Developing differentiated & compelling propositions (brand positioning, -purpose, -ladder, core creative idea and marketing mix).

Routine & Rhythms
  • Coordinate the Zone Innovation team led annual planning cycle. From preparing for long term (3YP) planning, through identifying opportunities, scouting potential solutions, and cross-functional workshops to select ideas, to conversion into short term (1YP) plans ensuring the implementation of selected Big Bets.
  • Plan for CAPEX (CND) need to materialize innovations through the creation of new capabilities / extra capacity

Stakeholder Management
  • Influencing stakeholder at different levels, building and maintaining collaborative cross-functional relationships across the Zone. Managing complexities in finding resolutions.
  • Engage wider business
  • Zone Commercial and Supply, to gain commitment and involvement from technical development of exceptional products to cut-through RTM strategies & in-POC execution.
  • Global Inno, Bev. Fund & GiTec, for support on FEI gaps to leverage their capabilities and capacity coordinating center of excellence (COE) commitments

Budget Management
  • Efficient management of budget (OPEX + CAPEX) with display of ownership. Having a clear and defendable allocation of funds against aligned initiatives.

Who we’re looking for:
  • Master / University degree in business-oriented applied sciences (marketing, business, finance, …)
  • 4-5 years relevant Marketing experience in a successful FMCG company or renowned (research, creative, …) agency or consultancy sector.
  • Experience in bringing innovations to market is considered an asset.
  • Result oriented with respect and support for quality, costs, timing
  • Fluent English; written & spoken. Local language skills are a definite benefit
  • Communication skills, ability to be compelling in a short and concise way.
  • Team-oriented collaboration, ownership understanding and high motivation to address complications or negatives as opportunities
  • Clear demonstration of thinking and acting as owner; Critical thinking, ability to examine and focus/prioritize. Display of business savviness.
  • Pragmatic and agile problem-solver, not overcomplicating matters
