About Our Client

Our client is a leading European producer of premium fresh fibre paperboards, active in innovative and sustainable packaging. Their European HQ is based in Mechelen and they are looking for a new colleague to strenghten the Italian Team!

Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative for the Italian Market, following tasks will be assigned to you:

  • To provide customer service to a group of assigned customers/accounts and to develop and maintain a good relationship with them
  • To handle customer orders in SAP from enquiry to delivery and invoicing including all related tasks, transactions and documentation
  • To keep all customer records and documents orderly filed and stored ensuring easy access and traceability
  • To take all actions to ensure that customer promises and agreements are kept
  • To monitor and keep the age, level and rotation of stocks of own customers/accounts within agreed limits
  • To follow-up credit limits and payment behavior of own customers/accounts together with sales and credit management
  • To gather information of complaints, trials, delays, payments, rebates etc. plus other relevant matters that may have an effect on the business and relationship with own customers/accounts

The Successful Applicant

As a Customer Service Representative, you have following requirements:

  • Fluent Italian at mother tongue level or Business - Proficient level. Good knowledge of English and any other language is an asset
  • Experience in Customer Service roles
  • Excellent verbal ("smile on the phone") and written (mainly e-mail) communication skills
  • Good document administration and organization skills
  • Ability to remain calm and to think clearly and creatively and to prioritize actions in unexpected situations
  • Tolerance to cope with stress and pressure
  • Personality to anticipate, to use own initiative and to be proactive
  • Knowledge of SAP to be considered an advantage
