You will be joining the Group Programme Management Office (GPMO) department, which is a part of the Operational Excellence division
GPMO is a team of programme directors and managers with experience and interest in leading the implementation of strategic business and technology changes across the organization, usually under the sponsorship of a senior member of the Euroclear Group.
GPMO’s ambition is to keep developing Euroclear’s programme management capability, delivering large and complex change in a consistent manner, and ensuring economic benefit is achieved in a transparent manner.
Role & responsibilities:
- You will lead strategic programmes across the group, and in most cases, you will work full-time on the programme. Your role is crucial for creating and maintaining focus, transparency, enthusiasm and momentum.
- You shape and drive complex business, regulatory and technology changes for the organization, ensuring that the desired programme outcomes and objectives are delivered
- You work in close collaboration with the programme sponsor and the business and technology change managers, ensuring scope, schedule and budget are managed effectively
- You are exposed to a variety of topics across the organizational value chain, defining and executing plans to achieve strategic objectives
- You have significant autonomy, working with business and technology stakeholders across the geographies as required
- You will build on your extensive business and IT acumen, developing a deep understanding of Euroclear business and technology landscape
- You will get broad exposure to senior management across the organization, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to the direction of their divisions
- You strive to be part of shaping strong programme management practices within the organization. You contribute to the continuous improvement of Euroclear capacity to manage programmes
- You are responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the programme.
- You will report to the GPMO lead within a flat organization.
Required qualifications:
- Leadership: you can build an effective team and drive it to achieve long term results, promote the co-workers’ engagement and motivate them to perform required tasks and to achieve programme objectives. You have proved capacity to manage conflicting priorities and cope with high degree of uncertainty
- Interpersonal skills: you easily work with people from different areas (Business, IT, Finance, Legal, Risk…) through strong inter-personal skills (active listening, empathy, influencing). You steer working groups and you demonstrate strong capacity to manage a large variety of stakeholders
- Communication skills: your points are presented in a logical and structured way. You are able to communicate complex ideas in a simple way, both verbally and in writing
- Organizational skills: you develop a coherent action plan, stating resources, timetable, milestones… You coordinate actions in a proactive manner and anticipate potential delays
- Analytical skills: you are able to decompose and structure complex programmes into manageable packages while maintaining the focus on the overall objectives. You have a strong ability to solve / pre-empt problems
- Transparency: you are not afraid to voice your convictions and you aim to create transparency in any situation
- Change Management: you understand the importance to manage the change in order to reach the objectives and you are experienced with change management methodology
- You have a proven successful experience of at least 5 years as programme manager. MSP certification is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
