Technical R&D Product Manager - mRNA platform

Job purpose:

You are responsible for the management of drug substance in Drug Substance, TRD GMP Manufacturing and Clinical Supply.

Your responsibilities:

• You are responsible for activities and resources engaged in the production process and for their continuous optimization.
• You manage day to day clinical vaccines operation.
• You manage a team of technicians and operators.
• You co-ordinate manpower targets, resources and skills.
• You co-ordinate support services activities related to GMP and non GMP production.
• You evaluate capacities (employees and machines) necessary to the completion of the production plan and Ensure that the facility, equipment, and staff are appropriately designed and trained to ensure production activities as well as to facilitate transfer of new processes.
• You make sure that the facility is properly managed in accordance with highest quality standards, including Security and (Bio) Safety aspects. Ensures compliance of the operations with GMP and Authorities requirements. Monitors quality of the production in close collaboration with QC and take corrective actions when necessary. Responsible to implement the Operational Excellence Process in the facility.
• You apply the recommended processes and continuously anticipates potential improvements of the current processes while assuring compliance with the Change Management procedures.
• You ensure compliance EHS standards and policies.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Engineering degree in Biology & Chemistry (or previous related experience)
• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in vaccines or related production unit.
• GMP knowledge for biological products.
• Knowledge of drug substance processes is an asset.
• Knowledge in biological processes and biopharmaceuticals technologies.
• Good level of written and spoken French and English.
